6 courses· Caregiver-and-me classesReady Routines
Daily routines, social participation, listening skills, transitions, and confidence for preschool, Pre-K, and kindergarten. This month connects movement, hand skills, regulation, and independence into realistic school-readiness routines. Parent handout: "School Readiness Beyond ABCs."
Ready Hands
Fine motor strength, bilateral coordination, early writing readiness, and functional independence. Children prepare their hands for classroom and self-help tasks through playful strengthening, two-handed activities, pre-writing practice, and everyday routines. Parent handout: "Why Little Hands Need Big Practice."
Ready Body
Movement confidence and body regulation. Children build coordination, body awareness, sensory regulation, motor planning, and participation readiness through purposeful movement, heavy work, calming strategies, and multi-step motor challenges. Parent handout: "Why Heavy Work Helps."
Express & Engage
Crossing into expressive language. Targeting first 10-15 functional words across pragmatic categories: requests, comments, social words, and protests. Built on Focused Stimulation (high-density modeling of target words) and Routines-Based Intervention.
Point & Play
Building the bridge to words. Variegated babble (ba-da-mi), early communicative gestures (point, wave, give), and intentional communication. Rooted in the prelinguistic milestones research (Wetherby & Prizant) and Enhanced Milieu Teaching environmental arrangement.
Watch & Wonder
Pre-linguistic foundations: vocal play, mutual gaze, and shared attention. Built on the Hanen OWL strategy (Observe, Wait, Listen) and JASPER joint-attention routines so caregivers learn to follow the child's lead and turn every interaction into a language opportunity.
